A nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is a prescription nasal spray for adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have not responded to at least two other antidepressants. It is the first FDA-approved ketamine-derived treatment covered by insurance for treatment-resistant depression.
It is also approved for adults experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors in the context of depression. SPRAVATO® is not a pain reliever or anesthetic, and it is not for use in children.
Unlike traditional antidepressants, SPRAVATO® works differently — targeting NMDA receptors in the brain to help restore chemical balance. Administered under medical supervision, it is part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes ongoing support and monitoring. It is not intended for use in children or as a substitute for hospitalization when needed.

When standard treatments fall short
Treatment-resistant depression affects millions of people who struggle to find relief through conventional medications. Symptoms may persist despite trying multiple therapies, leaving individuals feeling helpless or discouraged.
SPRAVATO® is a breakthrough option that offers relief and a restored sense of self for those who've felt hopeless or frustrated in their mental health journey. It's not just about symptom relief — it's about reclaiming a sense of possibility.
